Using Emoji icon deletes spelling lines?

Is there a tweak that fixes this, i'm guessing its a botch on Apples part, but it annoys the **** out of me!

Or does nobody know what i'm talking about?

if you have spelling errors in a text and you use an emoji icon it deletes the option to fix a spelling error
