Got a 1TB external hard drive with 2 partitions. One half purely for time machine backup for my iMac. The other I'd love to use just to stick media on to plug into the xbox 360 and watch movies. Currently got the 2nd half formatted to NTFS and can read/write with the use of NTFS for mac osx. But how the bloody hell do i get the xbox to read it for media use? Many thanks in advance and any questions please ask.

I have no experience with this issue, but perhaps the partition format of the drive isn't MBR. Maybe xbox needs MBR format? I guess you could try formatting the drive for MBR in Disk Utility (this will delete all data), repartition, and try again.
