using Facebook to save game progress

So I will be switching from Android to ios soon, and I have a couple games I want to transfer progress from Android to ios. The first is clash of clans but I can do that with the link feature. The second is hill climb racing 2, and it doesn't have a link feature, but it does have a Facebook log in. My question is if I sign into fb on my Android phone, and then sign into fb on the iPhone,will it save my game progress from Android? And will I then be able to save it to gamecenter? Thank you
