Does anyone know how to get my Mac to read the music (60 gig's) I loaded on my FreeAgent drive from a PC? I tried to plug in another drive and it ended up costing me $1,400 to recover all my wife's photo's. Thanks!!

It should be able to read the external and read the files you put on there from the PC

The drive needs to be formatted correctly. If you launch Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities), select the drive and it will tell you how it is formatted.

    Possible format choices include:

    MS-DOS (FAT) - Windows/Mac can both read/write
NTFS - Windows can read/write, Mac can only read
Mac OS Extended (HFS+) - Only Mac can read/write
