Hi everyone!

I'm finding that I really miss the little taskbar preview from Windows 7 in my switch to OS X. I found both Hyperdock and dockView last night that brings this feature to the OS X dock pretty well.

The only problem is that neither one seems to work with Windows applications running in Coherence mode via Parallels. That's a bummer since Word running in Windows is one of the principle reasons I'd want this little preview in the first place.

Has anyone gotten either of these (or another) to work with integrated windows applications? Is that an impossibility with the way that Parallels works? I can see previews of the windows in Mission Control so I would assume on some level it's possible, even if it's not currently available.

Thanks!

EDIT: On second thought, this might be more proper in the Windows on Mac section. If a mod wants to move it, that would be just fine. Thanks!

No ideas on this? Even a "There is no way to do it!" would be great. :)

Thanks!

I think it has to do with how Parallels doesn't separate the windows of different Windows applications into individual "applications" on the Mac side. It does mostly work with VMware Fusion but sometimes overlapping windows' previews overlap, and minimized windows will show the Windows desktop. (This may not always be the case; I have a lot of the Aero stuff turned off). This is an example of things working properly with HyperSwitch:
