    Hi there,

A few months ago I invested in a new iMac and it works superb. And sadly, recently due to unforseen events I had to invest in a new laptop as well. Now the fact is that I feel I have two pretty strong powerhouses, and we have all these diffent protocols for them to interact. Is there a way to harvest the power of both?

I do a lot of video work (not CGI though) and sometimes I feel that the iMac is maybe struggling on some things, could I make the GPUs work together, like some sort of FrankenMac?

In a word no. You could use an external GPU in a PCIe enclosure and a second screen but that's an expensive option.
