I just finished reading this article

I will be buying my new Alu iMac soon and i was wondering if the new iMacs can be used as a HD tv screen for my xbox 360. What types of cables, components and stuff will i need. Is it possible to do this?

I was referring the the new ALu iMacs and the newest 360s. If my research is correct, then both of them come with a HDMI port right?

The port on the iMac is a Mini-DVI port and is only video out. Any solution to this problem would most likely be the same as the previous iMac models. Hope you get something to work

There is no video input on the iMacs. You will have to use an external video caputre device as described in the thread you linked to.
