As many others, I had to switch from Mail to the GmailApp. The main problem I have is how I can upload more messages so that I can still read my mails when I am offline. In Mail I could decide how many conversations (in terms of days) I wanted to keep synchronized, here not, if I am not wrong. Any suggestion? Thanks.

so it means the only way will be to keep the same account on both gmail app (to get push) and mail (to keep offline messages)... i.e. the end of gmail account (or to pay for GoogleApps)...

I have gotten stuck so many times with needing an important piece of information from an email in gmail but the gmail iOS app wouldn't work because of no internet connection.
