Using iPad Pro for App Development

Is it possible to use the new IPad Pro for app development or is Apple looking to add that feature? I remember seeing something on Apple.com about an app development course coming out in the Fall.

I'm waiting for my iPad to arrive, but I'm planning on using Remote Desktop with Jump Desktop (app) for development. This allows me to use a citrix mouse.

I think there are some text editors out there to help you, but as for as compiling and running goes, you have to do it remotely.
