Hi everyone I just bought a new tactical flashlight that comes with a USB – C charging cable but with no wall charger to plug in to an outlet. Can I use my iPhone 11 Pro Max wall charger/brick for the flashlight? Here are the specs on the battery and cable

  • 1 x 21700 5100mAh Li-ion battery
  • 1 x USB-C charging cable

In theory, it should, but given the wild west nature of USB-C, don't be surprised if it doesn't charge via a USB-C to C connection to the Apple adapter, and you may have to resort to a USB-C to A cable with another adapter.

People have found that it's been necessary to experiment, adapt as needed, and there are no common threads as to how USB-C lights behave.

Just make sure that the current the adapter can supply is greater than the device will ever draw. The specs are typically listed on the units.
