Hi guys.
Im trying to use my external microphone on my iPhone.
The microphone is EDUTIGE EIM-001.
Im trying to use the external mic as a pin microphone using the stock voice recorder.
The problem is, Im trying to use it as a pin microphone by using a extension cable.
My external mic works fine if I plug it in directly to the iPhone.
However, when I use a extension cable (like the headphone extensions 3.5mm to 3.5mm 2m long) it suddenly stops recording with my external mic.
It is recording on my iPhone mic however.
I just dont get why it wont record with a extension cable in between.
Seems to happen with all iPhones that I have (4S, 5, 5S).
I tried different extension cables but still same problem.
Is there a reason why?
