USING Iphone as CAR GPS

I notice that you have to have it turn the page each time to get the next set of directions. Is there a way to let this thing navigate you from place to place without having to press the screen to get the next directions?

no this has been discussed plenty of times and apple does not allow that.

I don't have an iPhone yet, but am thinking of buying and the GPS is an enticing feature. does the GPS work if you don't have a cell signal? (Like in the rural areas?) also, any talk of GPS showing up on the iPod Touch?
