How can you route audio from the MacBook pro to the iPhone output?

I get less static noise with the iPhone and my external soundcard is a very poor pair with my earphones.

You will need to have a jailbroken iPhone for this, IF something like this even exists.

Pretty lame I can't use the iPhone 5S as a DAC + AMP for the rMBP. The iPhone 5S is actually better than the rMBP soundwise for my earphones :(

I'll ask at the jailbreak section of this forum then. But not sure if I want to jailbreak my iPhone 5S for this.

Why not just copy the music across to the 5s.

You can do either of those on the iPhone as well.

I guess he wants to watch them on the larger screen though.
