still Learning - 🙂 , When I view some of my photos using iPhoto all I see is whats in the picture below ( ! ) , can some one please tell me why I can not see some of the photos , and how can I get back to seeing all of my photos again . Thanks

It means that the Photo has been deleted in your library...have you moved any thing into the trash can?
 
Hi noodle654 , now I come to think of it , Yes I did some house cleaning 🙁
trust me, so all's lost then 🙁
 
Doing ANYTHING to your photos in finder can/will result in the behavior you have experienced. Say out! for now, you may want to try rebuilding your library. The instructions can be found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2042 . If the instructions at the top of the article do not work for you, try the manual rebuild discussed later on. May result in duplicates (or more) but you will get your photos back.
