Hi,
I am not a huge fan of reality TV, but recently tuned in to an episode of Gene Simmons Family Values only to she Gene's daughter log on to a computer to view a streaming video from her Apple Notebook to see who was taking items from their kitchen.

I would love to be able to set up my Apple to view what in the world my bird, a large Macaw, is doing throughout the day to get nuts and seed some 10 feet or so from her cage. She is a great bird and doesnt scream or bite, but she is a trip and loves to joke around.

Is there anyway to do what I saw?

Jeff

You can set up iChat to conference with yourself, or use something like VLC to stream the video (possible details here) though you would likely need to open a port on your firewall for VLC streaming to work.

There are also several IP camera options out there. You can set up a camera on your network and view it on any computers web browser.
