Is there any way to enable internet sharing (like you can with a mac airport card) on your touch so you can use it as a router? I have a laptop with ubuntu (7.10) on it that doesnt get along with the netgear router at my local all night diner, but my touch can access it just fine. is there any way i can use the touch to have a 'computer to computer' type connection that would let me access the net on my laptop through my ipod? I have a jailbroken 1.1.1 touch.

many thanks in advance!

There is no internet sharing for the iPhone yet but, why are you on 1.1.1? That's older than dirt. Upgrade to 1.1.4 and run iLiberty+ and it's about 10x easier and better than 1.1.1.

Yeah there isn't any way to host wireless off of the iPod touch/iPhone yet (although you'd probably kill yourself waiting for pages to load if you're using EDGE). I'm still puzzled as to why so many people still use/want to downgrade back to the 1.1.1 firmware...
