Using Leopard on different Machines

Can I use leopard Time machine to back up on a Mac, and then restore on a different Mac model with leopard?

If I only backup on 1 partition of an external hard drive then the other partition I have created will be accessible . Is that correct.

Is it possible to use a leopard installation disk from 1 MAcintosh model , to install on a different model Macintosh.
