Using Macbook 12 w 65in 4k Samsung TV

This combo is wicked lol.

When you mirror the screen the MB screen becomes 4k as well (in 16:9). The letters are tiny! And the normal pointer speed setting takes forever to scroll around the screen.

Since I am able to read the screen from the couch I may be forced to get a Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad .......

Looks like the Apple Multiport Adapter, so yes...if you connect a USB-C charge cable to it too.

The laptops will likely run scaled to 1920x1080 for retina quality.

It works on both.

When I closed it everything went kaput. Later investigation seems to indicate that some sort of input device needs to be connected (by bluetooth is ok) like a keyboard or touchpad.

Then it should stay active.

Didn't know the HDMI on that adapter would support 4k!
