I just updated to the iPhone 3.0 Beta software. Is there any way to use my MacBook as A2DP speakers? I want the music playing from my iPhone to go out through my speakers which are connected to my MacBook. I was unable to do this with the Bluetooth Preference Pane but I thought there may be a workaround/plist change/3rd party program someone may know about.

Thanks.

Try this and let me know

Ive been looking for the same exact thing as soon as i heard that the new firmware will support the ad2p. i did find a program called Bluephoneelite 2. i have no idea if you can play music over it but it does turn your mac into a bluetooth speaker with phone calls but i dont have the new firmware to see if you could possibly play music. Let me know what you think im curious to know if it works or not or if youve found a program that does allow you to play music from your iphone over bluetooth on your mac.
