Got a macbook and my parents use it like a laptop.

They very occasionaly move it from where it is.

What's the best way to preserve the battery?

    Thanks

Tape the Magsafe connector to the side of the laptop and remove the battery to save its health.

Really? I did it all the time on my old Windows laptop... granted, the AC connector was practically glued on to the side of the damn thing. Thanks though :O I've been doing that for a while now

Read the link and you'll see it's not a good thing to do.

Use it on battery power from time to time. The battery likes to know its being used! ;)
