using menu bar instead of dock

alright im a nut when it comes to my dock, i like it perfect and i just downloaded a program that makes the menu bar see through (like leopard) and i love it but whenever you want to have it like this you have to have the application open which then appears in my dock....is there a way you can just have a little icon in the menu bar that appears there when the app is open?????

for those wanting to know the app it is called "MenuShade"

have you never had an application on a small enough display that had enough application menus that osx removed the menubar extras to make room?

i always make my dock smaller before it gets that serious😛

Use something like Dockless.

Dockless won't work...when you use dockless, it also takes the item out of the menu bar, which in this case makes it worthless.
