Using migrated iCloud account with snow lepard

I'm trying to find a solution for someone in the my office. She has an older mac, and mistakenly (or unknowingly, or whatever) migrated Her .mac account and picked "all my computers are up to date" when they were not, and finished the process months ago. Is she permanently stuck being unable to access her e-mail though mail, or is there some way to fix this after the fact.
