Apps Using new Apple TV as an alarm clock?

The new apple tv has cec support so is there an app for the new apple tv that will turn my TV on and turn the volume and brightness up gradually?

I've seen something like this for chromecast.

Yeah, I have been looking for something similar. Would be nice to have apple tv wake up in the morning playing favorite song, displaying weather/news/calendar.

The closest thing I have been able to find is an apple script which reports being able to do all of this, but I haven't tried it yet:

It would be nice if there was an app that had all of this built in, but I haven't seen anything as of yet.
