Hi, not sure where else to to this question but can you use a cheap bog standard MP3 player on a Mac with just dropping files into it whilst connected?

iTunes doesn't need to play in a part in this.

Are most MP3 players Mac compatible?!

Thanks

you can use iTunes as long as music not bought from apple/have DRM.

I got 23GB music and drag and drop to an SD card what I want right out of iTunes to play in car radio.

Cool. I don't have any music bought from iTunes so it was an easy drag and drop into the mounted MP3 player.

yes I have iTunes open and finder showing the SD card (or in your case MP3 player)

drag from your iTunes music list to the finder window and it copies it to my sd card.

all my music is mp3 format except some which are not as forgot change settings in iTunes so need redo these albums.

I'm guessing that when dragging the MP3 files from iTunes to the MP3 player / flash drive the playlists its aren't copied over? So the MP3 player is just like a large iPod shuffle?
