Using old ATV as an AirPlay device

I moved my old Apple TV to the spare bedroom and have a powered speaker that takes a red/white RCA cable input. The apple TV has a digital and HDMI output. I found a cable on Amazon that has HDMI on one side and red/white/yellow on the other, but there is this question about digital/analog conversion. (??) Does anyone know if this will work?

You'll also need the toslink cable.
