using old Mac-fonts(*.MBN) on Catalina

Hello forum

Before switching many many years ago to Windows, I made a backup of my Mac-fonts (*.MBN)
After converting them to PC Type 1 fonts (*.pfb and *.pfm), I continued to use them
under Windows. Now it's time to switch-back to macOS

Question
What's the best approach to convert those old Mac-fonts(*.MBN) in order to be able to use
them under macOS Catalina?

macOS supports TrueType (.ttf), Variable TrueType (.ttf), TrueType Collection (.ttc), OpenType (.otf), and OpenType Collection (.ttc) fonts. macOS Mojave adds support for OpenType-SVG fonts.
Legacy suitcase TrueType fonts and PostScript Type 1 LWFN fonts might work but aren't recommended.

For conversion and editing you can use e.g. the free FontForge or BirdFont.

MBN isn't a standard file type identifier for Mac fonts so these could be anything.

Thank's chrfr for the helpful feedback! CrossFont from Acutsystems.com (only for Windows available ) did recognised them as LFWN and converted them to OTF: Installing them under Catalina with FontBook and using them in several apps does work without any issues

The font-tools mentioned in this thread (FontForge or BirdFont) did not work in my environment.
