Hello forum

Before switching many many years ago to Windows, I made a backup of my Mac-fonts (*.MBN)
After converting them to PC Type 1 fonts (*.pfb and *.pfm), I continued to use them
under Windows. Now it's time to switch-back to macOS :)

Question
What's the best approach to convert those old Mac-fonts(*.MBN) in order to be able to use
them under macOS Catalina?

Thank you very much for any help!

Regards,

Bill

MBN isn't a standard file type identifier for Mac fonts so these could be anything.

Thank's chrfr for the helpful feedback! CrossFont from Acutsystems.com (only for Windows available ) did recognised them as LFWN and converted them to OTF: Installing them under Catalina with FontBook and using them in several apps does work without any issues :)

The font-tools mentioned in this thread (FontForge or BirdFont) did not work in my environment.
