Using option key to boot into windows not working with BT keyboard

I have no problem using my wired keyboard to boot into Windows using boot camp. but when I use the Apple Bluetooth keyboard, holding down the option button when powering up does not work. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

yeah i have the same problem well not problem but I think because nothing has really loaded yet at that point not even Bluetooth

I use the keyboard on my MBP on startup and hold the alt(option) key from there.

What kind of Bluetooth keyboard are you using? Option-booting works fine using my Apple Bluetooth keyboard.

It is an Apple keyboard.

You can push the button on the right side of the keyboard a couple of times while holding down the option key right after you here the chime, that's what works for me. Not the most elegant solution I know but it works most of the time.
