    System prefs->Security->General

    Require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen saver
    Disable automatic login

    System Preferences > Security > General. The option you want is at the top. :)

    In Security (or Accounts) is the option to Require Password after sleep or screensaver.

    I would also suggest opening up the Keychain Access application and changing it's preferences to show the status on the menubar. Then you can lock the screen anytime by using the menu.

    Or you can just set up a hot corner to activate the screen saver.
