Can someone tell me whats the best way of storing my HD xamera recorded videos on my computer and have them stream to my phone?

Air Video converts, poorly, plus I cant seem to get files that dont need converting to work

Airsharing has to download the file first before it plays

Also, am i best setting up an FTP server or a HTTP server. Can files be streamed over FTP?

I tried HFS HTTP file server but none of the files seem to play even though they were recorded on the iPhone

Basically i need an app and a desktop app that allows me to stream video to iphone as and when i need it, in with decent quality.

i always use wamp server, you can format them in quicktime and when you open it as an url it should recognize the format and stream it..

wamp is for windows, if you have a mac use mamp or for linux use lamp..

i'd imagine other servers would work too but I use this for testing PHP programs when I'm doing web dev, I don't actually put the server online though, just use it locally
