    hullo,

i have just been looking at all the thunderbolt goodies on this page

    http://www.sonnettech.com/product/thunderbolt/

And noticed a pcie enclosure which connects through TB, does that mean ill be able to use a proper video card with my iMac?

There are already a fair few threads about this in the mac peripherals section of the forums.

I came across these last week and the jist of it (i think) is that they should be quite good as even though they don't have the bandwidth of the top of the range GFX cards (x16) it shouldn't make THAT much difference.

But I guess we won't know for sure until they come out.

amazing. I also noticed they will sell a 19' rack unit containing a maci mini and PCIe card slots for it. I wonder if apple are worried about Mac pro sales taking a dive, if it will be possible to put proper video cards in any mac.
