using phone as bluetooth modem w/unibody MBP

I just got a new 15" 2.4 Uni MPB and loving it. so much faster than my old powerbook g4

problem is getting my cell phone setup as a bluetooth modem. it is setup in both bluetooth prefs and network prefs exactly the same as on the PB, both running 10.5.6 with all updates and no go. it connects to the phone but never dials (whereas, obviously, the PB connects and dials)

using a sonyericsson w760i with AT&T, if that matters.

has there been any issues with this on these computers? i'm new to intel macs, but that should really be the only difference between the 2 setups.

nevermind - seems like it was a modem script problem. i copied the scripts from the pb over, and even though they all looked the same, it dialed in now.
