Using sticker decals on Macbook Pro

I'm thinking about buying one of those cool decal stickers for my Macbook Pro and I was wondering if anyone knows if they are difficult or messy getting off.

Depending on what kind of glue the decal uses it can be very messy and extremely difficult to get off cleanly. You'll have to be more specific.

if you're referring to decals from like mac slaps or etsy then no, there won't be any residue when taken off
