Ok, just for fun here but - when using Siri through the Apple watch - asking her to send a message via an app that (I believe) doesn't exist for Apple Watch - how can I get her to recognize my iPhone 11 Pro?

I know you can receive Hangouts messages on AW, and not start them but I tried anyways while I was bored... I tried this while out on cellular connection, and while attached to my iPhone.

Not that this is important, but still just curious...

Could someone else try this on AW? Ask Siri "Send a Hangouts Message" and see what she replies with?

I noticed this bug many times as well. Seems very simple for Apple to fix... just need to replace the placeholder "null" with "iPhone".

Since the placeholder is null it must get the value from somewhere. Probably needs to get the name of the device?!

You're right, but since the only device that the Watch can be paired to is a phone, and that too - an iPhone, they can simply write "iPhone" in that placeholder lol

Unless... It's a mistake... And iPad pairing is coming out soon ;)

Getting a variation of that message on iPhone sometimes since iOS 13. Usually when Siri has trouble reading contacts.
