Using the Coffeshop free Wi-Fi ??

I torrent. I have a ton of illegal movies. I have many illegal software. I stole someone's wi-fi to download more torrents a couple of times.

People should be smart enough to secure their networks these days... if they don't, they're dumb... plain and simple. ANYHOW, you should be fine using wireless in a coffee shop, just make sure your not sharing anything critical and if you're really worried, turn on the firewall.

technically there is no "on" or off".

"Allow only essential services" would be the one that you want, it will only allow things like internet, msn etc and nothing more.
