H hyddan macrumors member Original poster Dec 29, 2006 86 0 May 6, 2009 #3 Made some further investigation and it seems the fn button is indeed made on the hardware level. It changes the other f buttons to other ones. Too bad I had an idea to fix myself a numpad.
