I thought I'd share my experience trying to setup the Magic TrackPad to work with Mac OSX and Windows 7 via BootCamp. It was not as straight forward as I would have liked. This assumes you already have all the software updates for Mac and Windows installed.

1) First off, if you paired the trackpad with OSX you must unpair (remove) it.
2) Boot into Windows and pair it with Windows first. You will have to restart.
3) Start up OSX. Remove the battery cap of the trackpad with a coin. This completely shuts it off.
4) Put the battery cap back in the trackpad and pair with OSX.

I honestly don't know why you need to pair with Windows first and why you have to remove the battery to restart the trackpad but it worked for me. If the trackpad is paired with OSX first, Windows will recognize it but won't install it. After the trackpad is paired with Windows, OSX won't find it until you take the batteries out and put them back in.

Btw, I have 2009 MBP 15" running OSX 10.6.4 and Windows 7 64-bit.

I hope there is a way to make 3 fingers swipe works in Windows. Apple simple removed/disabled the feature in Windows, which isn't nice.

I tried the above technique and I had no luck on my macpro with windows 7 64bit. I can get it to work in os x or windows but not both. I need to un pair the device in on os before I use the other. Has anyone had any luck?

I've got the same problem... can get the trackpad to pair and work, but only after removing the battery cap and repairing EVERY time I boot up either Windows 7 or Mac OS X. Any updates?

I use the trackpad on my iMac and I switch from Win 7 and OSX and never have a problem with pairing. When on Windows, I do have to click on it for it to wake up.

Not sure why you have this issue. All I did is pair it on Mac then next time I used Windows paired it there now it works on both OS just fine.

What machine are you on. I have a 2008 MacPro and I can only get it to pair with one os or the other. I have a Apple wireless mightymouse that works on both.

2010 MP; like the previous poster wrote, all I do on the Windows side is click it once to wake it up and works fine.
