I just got a 1TB TC Dual-band model for Christmas but the set up is very frustrating.
The wifi set up is a breeze but access to the 1TB hard drive is annoying...
My wife's Macbook connnects fine to the hard drive but my PCs are being randomly disconnected.
The time capsule wifi is connected with n only (5.0) and b/g. Wifi works fine with the Macbook and two PCs since connected with ethernet.
But my XP frequently gets disconnected or really slow. That's problem #1.
The big problem is...in the Windows explorer, do you browse the TC from "My computer" or "My Network Places". The TC drive gets lost frequently from both locations.
I synced the Workgroup names on all computers and installed the TC application (Agent) and log in before accessing the TC drive.
In conclusion, Did anybody else experience a hard time with their XP and access to the TC hard drive from PCs? I tried to access some movies from the TC and it suddenly gets disconnected and file sharing gets frequently disconnected...overall not stable.
Any input will be greatly appreciated~
