Using Time Machine to install new harddrive???

    Can you use Time Machine to copy your hard drive and reinstall on new hard drive, ie: opperating system , programs? I am wanting to replace my 100gb HD with a 250gb HD in my MacBook Pro. Could use some help...:confused:

    Sure, but you must boot from the Leopard DVD first. Then go into the Utility menu and select "Restore from TM backup".

    Thank you for the quick answer. I was hoping you could. That will save me from having to pay $60.00 to have someone else do it for me.:D
