Hey Folks,

I have bought a new macbook pro, and got all the data across to it from my old macbook using the migration wizard. Ideally I want to be able to use my previous macbooks timemachine backup - however I only seem to be able to create a new one - any ideas how I can use the old macbooks image?

Since it is a completely new machine, it will create a new backup, I don't think there is a way of merging the two or anything. If you want to keep the backups from the old one then just don't delete the backup folder. If you ever need something that is in there just find it and manually drag it to where you want it on the new mac.
