That is the most in-the-green RAM pressure graph I have ever seen. It's so low impact that the OS is not even bothering to cache as much as it can - you have *a lot* of wasted free RAM.

Energy impact is also low, CPU use seems fine. In other words, this is a totally normal system showing no ill effects whatsoever.

I'm utterly unsurprised that your system is showing 6 GB of RAM used, since you have 16GB total and are nowhere near close to even barely putting a strain on it, the OS is quite happy to cache a ton of data because you're not using it for anything else.

You're actually using too little RAM. You have so much spare that the OS is ignoring a good portion of it because it has nothing else to cache.

Yep That's fine. I have a few PDFs open with a few safari tabs.. 7.23 GB used, 4.42 GB cached. Memory pressure at its lowest.

Hey so yea I'm only on regular sites. Like news sites. No video editing or anything. Right now I have 5 tabs open, one on youtube, the rest are just plain sites. the computer is using 6 gb of ram and seems to be heating up unnaturally.

Your memory pressure is green, problem solved.
