using top blank spacing

Hi,

I'd like to use the top blank space for text I create, such as reminders, goals, and things like that.

I've noticed that the amount of space used by programs/apps varies, and that there's usually enough for what I would like.

Does anyone know of a way to program the OS, or an app to add static text, scrolling text, or randomly appearing text, to catch my attention, in that top area?

In the Menubar to the right of app's menuitems? I've never used it but this seems to exist:

Hey, that's pretty neat! And very flexible. If only my menu bar weren't mostly filled with iStat Menus I'd give that a try...

To test if it helps with reminders, goals, etc. I have specific text. I want the timing to be random.

Have I got this right? You have set yourself a new goal (create random notifications) to help you keep to your original goals. 😉
