Okay. Can someone please post a step-by-step process for streaming video for Web sites that offer feature. I've tried several times to do this, but just can't get it to work.

Many thanks.

Not exactly answer to your question, but nice idea for anyone with Power PC machine:

My dad has a PM G4 MDD Dual 1.42, R9000 Pro, 2GB, Tiger installed.
YouTube with flash on any browser - forget it. Tried MacTubes, well separate app just for video was not a very good solutions.

Namoroka (FF) was installed on Tiger and we tried this:

1. Put scriptish or greasemonkey

2. Install this script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/87011

This will actually download video to your computer, partially buffer it and then instead through flash play in QuickTime. Great idea but everything you get in Tiger is white video + audio.

Then I installed fresh Leopard 10.5.8, put Minefiled 4.0 for PPC, Perian, scriptish and that script and my dad is now enjoying YT on his G4. Everything is working fine.

When you intall this controls are above video, you can choose resolution and media type (MP4, MPG, Auto, HTML-5.....), on resized window or fullscreen.

It looks something like this:

*You can skip only part of video which is buffered.

With just VLC plug-in enabled this was no go. On Windows XP / 7, VLC plug starts, but video does not. My colleague successfully installed VLC on Ubuntu and Beta FF Beta, video plays, but you cannot skip video at all.
