    Hi guys,

I would like to be able to download all the images from certain message board threads using wget or curl.

My problem is that some of these images are hosted on sites like Photobucket, imgur etc and are posted as thumbnails on the message boards and you need to click these thumbnails to see the bigger picture and then you can save it. Here is an example.

Is there anyway I can use wget or curl to get all the images that I need at once? I'm happy enough to download the entire thread to a folder and find all the images that way.

I initially asked this on Superuser but I'm getting downvoted there and no one is answering. I'm not sure why so hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction.

    Thanks.

If you use Mechanize you can 'click' on images to follow links

Thanks. I wil have a look at that programme and see if suitable.

I was able to get wget to do what I wanted it to....however....some image hosting sites have a JavaScript button saying "click here to see image" and wget wasn't able to process this correctly.
