I play regularly online on UT99, but one thing bugs me.

The brightness. A lot of the maps have dark areas and I sometimes can't see players or areas which is a disadvantage.

My screen brightness and the UT99 preferences brightness are both on maximum.

On my old PC, the brightness on UT99 goes amazingly high! Something wrong with the OS X version?

You can't adjust the brightness in game due to UT never being properly finished for OS X.

A quick hack of a way to get around this though is to create a new screen calibration in the Displays system preference. Just make it so the gamma is really bright.

Right before you load UT, switch to the brighter screen calibration, and when you finish, switch back.
