Utility to report current processor clock speed?

Is there something to report current CPU clock speed? (e.g. on laptops, the CPU multiplier and therefore frequency fluctates with load depending on power profile)... does anything report on this low level activity?

On Windows, CPU-z is the tool I would use. Anything similar for OS X?

Cool... I had seen that but didn't know it could report on real-time CPU clocks. If that's true, that's perfect! Thanks!

I cant find any option on iStat that shows current CPU clock speed. Anyone have a CPU-Z equivalent for OS X (preferably free)???


PS CPU-X is not reporting things correctly on the Core i5

I know I am a year or two late to this discussion, hopefully someone will be reading 🙂 iStatPro doesn't show clock speed unfortunately, is there anything that does? My i7 with turbo can speed itself up and I'd like to monitor that.
