I have searched and still have not found a release date anyone have any ideas
I remember reading awhile back that they've stopped developing a mac version. I use Transmission, and it works fine for me.
I love transmission thats what i use but when i was on windows i used utorrent and liked it!
Vuse works great for me. A bit on the heavy side though.
check this out, it may help you to as a release of it
If you're on a Mac go for Transmission. Very Mac-like and simple interface.
agree, but if utorrent comes out it will be better than tranmission
Tranmission would be a fine light-weight client if it wasn't banned from so many trackers due to legacy behavior.
Azureus is good!
Transmission has way too many problems!
The data transfer icons in dock freeze!
Requires restart after an internet failure!
But all in all, its lighter than azureus and consumes much less memory!
White uTorrent absolutely hands-down rules for Windows, their devs are absolute buttholes about giving any indication what-so-ever about release schedules. It's been "in development" for ever, but never seems to get any closer, and none of them will give any indication on when it might appear. Basically, don't sit around waiting for it, find an alternative.
...or, use a PC purely for uT w/ WebGUI as I do
Honestly, even if µTorrent comes out for OS X, it'll be a horrible Windows interface with a Mac border.
It'd be crap
Just get Transmission or Azereus or summin...
i used to use utorrent on pc, but since i had a mac i've always used transmission, no problems with it.. trackers ban it?? i alwasy get good speeds, ah well.
Future Blues: What trackers ban it? There are none afaik.
