10.14.1. so now what?/ any work arounds for that or other safe downloaders that will work on mojave?

utorrent/tranmission wont work to download torrents

it's not the OS, transmission is fine here, and has been thru all the mojave betas & finals. check your firewall setting (privacy preference pane), check your network settings. try a different torrent, update to 10.14.2. or, perhaps your ISP is blocking it? you should be using a vpn.... good luck!
thank you- no need to try and get me up to speed ...tho, everytime I think I am I find out that 20 minutes previous all has been upgraded tigthten down etc. and out of date by twenty minutes...will check firewall ...frankly this networking stuff is my weak suit got 10/14/1 thought that was the latest it is only a week or so old??? and I use nordvpn..formerly pia vpn and worked good with utorrent and previous ios...I am unsure on the correct utorrent network settings...

I cant find the correct set up info for this stuff ...if you look at youtube and other forums etc...dozens of mostly outdated and incorrect info...so that is wasted effort and time- like the week plus I have in this already....all I want is set up info for mojave transmission or utorrent settings should be a simple deal was until mojave....thanks
sorry that is such a poorly written description ..mojave wont allow utorrent or transmission to download torrents... mojave nordvpn- need settings- either for utorrent or transmission. thanks...thats better ...firewall setting?? thanks...
