V-Moda Duo in UK Apple Stores?

As I posted in another forum, they are really well designed and great with the iPhone but the sound is very tiring. Very boom boom. I got them in the Apple Store, the guys there there didn't even know they had them!

I've just ordered a set from the online store. What I don't understand is why Apple persist with the current shape & design of the iPod headphones. No-one I've ever spoken to likes them because of their poor fit, so do I just know lots of iPod owners with the same size/shaped ears, or are most people just putting up with the poor fit?

Its frustrating, because they're not actually a bad set of headphones if you put them in and hold them in, but they just won't stay in on their own!

I have noticed lately the apple store have stopped selling such a range of headphones now 🙁

got my pair of etymotic research er6i from them, apparently got A on ilounge.com

Btw i must say those v-moda's are very bass weighted.

Someone has posted that setting the equaliser to Treble Booster will compensate for the bass
