Vaja Wallet Agenda Case

I Received my Vaja Wallet Agenda Case as a gift for my new iPhone X.

First Impressions the leather is quality is great, and I am in love with the color of it.

The only thing I dislike so far is I just wish the front flap would lay a little more flat or if it was magnetized similar to the Official Apple one. Currently the front flap does not lay flat, but maybe with time it will. For those interested to see a Space Grey in Vaja's Bridge Blue; here is it is.

I have Apple Leather Folio for iPhone X and it is a terrible product. Ordered a Twelve South Journal today. Vaya look extremely good but I dislike the big metal logo....

I did not know that about the magnets with the Apple iPhone Folio. I am also not a fan of the look/feel of it, which is why I went with Vaja.

I used to be a fan of Twelve South Products, I used to use their book book case, but the quality of it has fallen drastically(with constant peeling/fraying. Since earlier iPhone 4 era. I honestly do not like Vaja's logo either in the rear part of the case, but ill manage. lol

I bought the Apple Leather Folio as a stop gap before my custom Vaja came in. I'd never checked out the Folio in person before it arrived.

Overall, it feels much better put together than the Vaja wallet cases I've had before. I don't like the card organization system of the Folio. I'm also not a fan of the colors it comes in. Other than those two things, I'm very happy with the Folio.

The Folio feels way more sturdy and cohesive. The execution also feels more tidy and compact. It also feels more padded and protective.

I went through 2 Vaja cases on my 7+ in one year. The bottom right corner on the first one came unglued from the backing and bent backwards. My phone would slip out of the case with little effort and definitely when dropped.

I replaced it with a new Vaja case and as you can see from this picture, it hasn't held up well at all. This case is around 6 months old. I've never had a case or a wallet deteriorate at the rate of either of my vaja cases. The fact they are so expensive makes the situation worse.

TL;DR: My two Vaja cases looked great, but weren't as functional or protective as my Folio and they didn't hold up very long at all.

I have to agree with MedRed above. I have used and loved Vaja cases for many generations of iPhones and they used to age well but the last couple of generations have not for me either. The fit has been off and the wear has been unusually quick. They still look great if you keep them in museum gallery crystal case and just look at them but they don’t last long if you actually plan to use them.

that poor stitching does not look to good and I really thought that Vaja was high end but that does not seems the case (anymore)

In the mean time I got the Journal from Twelve South. IMO you can not compare it with the Apple Leather Folio. Th leather Folio leather is too thin so I really like to see tests if you drop it on the ground. I don't mind paying an hefty price, but I expected more.

Sure the Journal makes the iPhone much thicker and misses the smart cover functionality, but the leather smells like real leather and if gives much better protection; after all that I why I buy a folio/wallet case in anyway
