What do you think the market value of a GSM 32GB Black iPhone 4 is? Screen is fine, but sone scuffs on the side from a bumper.

Not unlocked, but as long as I can downgrade from iOS5 to 4.3.3 (with saved blobs) I can jailbreak it.

did you think of checking completed listings on ebay? or do you expect other people to do your research for you?

Others have already looked. So I could sit on Ebay for an hour trying to find another phone that is like mine, or I can ask a fellow forum member.

I would need to sort through scratched ones, jailbroken ones, unlocked ones.

Or you could spend 30 seconds using the tool on ebay that gives you a custom quote based on your phone's model and condition?

Your phone sounds like average condition, so just compare it to the average selling price chart on eBay. Probably worth ~$370 given the quickly declining value.

I think a new 32 GB iPhone 4 (no commitment pricing) when it came out was $549, so I think you should be able to get at least $325 - $350ish, and maximum $400 - $450ish, depending on when you sell it. Its worth will probably decline rather quickly now.

Well if you take into account that a new 32 GB iPhone 4 (no commitment pricing) when it came out was $549, I think you should be able to get at least $350, and maximum $400 - $450ish, depending on when you sell it. It's worth will probably be declining rather quickly now.

No commitment pricing for the iPhone 4 was $599/$699 on it's release. Verizon and AT&T increased it by $50 to $649/$749 although Apple has retained the old price. I believe you're quoting the current early-upgrade pricing. $449/$549 for the 16GB and 32GB models respectively. Of course they used to cost $399 and $499. Apparently competition increases prices for the consumer.

Just sold my 16g black iPhone 4 in the same relative condition for $325 last weekend. I assume that if u wait much longer the price is going to drop with each passing week.

Ah, I was just assuming, thanks for the correction.

So I could sit on Ebay for an hour trying to find another phone that is like mine, or I can ask a fellow forum member.

An hour? I just looked at completed auctions for 5 minutes.

2100+ listings total matching iphone 4 32gb -(verizon, white, unlocked, jail*), used.

480 listings between $0 and $300.

460 between $300 - $350.

800+ between $350-$400. (ding ding)

650 $400 and up. These are probably either scammer bids, or closer to 30 days ago, pre 4S announcement.

Many listings in each category were green (sold). Many were red (unsold)

The sweet spot is $375. Those were probably mint with boxes, strong seller ratings. Yours is scratchy, so $300-$325 if no box, maybe more with a box. Feedback dependent.

Was that so hard? Next time DIY. Use operators like -(jailbroken, unlocked, verizon, white) in your search terms.
